Thanks, and yes, Pantera "was" the chit. Love your bike also. Mine is almost too stiff, so maybe that could be the answer to two problems, soften it up a bit and lower it a little more. I just don't want it to be sloppy either, been there and done that, with the stock junk.
i think i cut 1/2 inch off mine and heavy oil and i like it..............so cut some off the spacer or put the reg oil in it....that will soften it up a just right...........gotta remember the more you cut off the less spring preload too so you could bottom out if you cut too much off so try the reg oil or if you didnt cut the spacer yet cut a little at a time......and when you lower it too much you only have so much travel .........thats why only did 1 in too cuz i tend to have to slam the brakes now and then when you run outta travel you skid............and thats not fun
Well now, I will just have to play around with this a little and see if I can find a "sweet" spot. I have looked at before and after shots and it looks like I got the full 2, but just looking at the bike, it doesn't. I only lowered the rear about 1.5" to 1.75", and on level ground, the bike is not level. That's what I was going for.
Music wise, I dig anything heavy, from Slipknot, Mudvayne, Lamb of God, the list goes on and on. I listen to a wide assortment of stuff. People look at me kinda funny when I go from something like Chimaira to Ludacris to some old Hank Jr. or David Allen Coe.
i like luda too just cuz hes funny rapper oh and dont forget emineim but thats as far as i go for rapp but all that other stuff you listed i mean come on its talent not some thing thats on the radio one day and gone the next ...........yea find the sweet spot but dont go too far you dont want the wobbles..............dont go by pic they dont give you the right sight via distance and angle............i measured the stock to now and was a little short of an inch
this all has me tangled up now. on monday im going to call progressive and find out just what i bought and how low it was supposed to drop the bike. i think that will clear all of this up. lol
well look on the good side of it all you spent wut 50 bucks on the drop in kit...............and the shorter dampners cost 50 so all in all you spend the same as a total kit with the springs witch costs the same so you dont lose any $..........i know somebody that just tried to use the shorter dampners and his front end wuz sloppy soft with the stock springs in and he put the progressive springs in (drop in kit) and made it perfect..........
