I finally got my dyno tune Friday. I'm sure I left some hp on the table with my pipes, and cams. I was shooting for 90 hp & 100 trq. came close with 87.6 hp & 101.7 trq
95" 203 cams, street ports head, 9.8.1 comp, C/R, SE Heavy breather. (my seat dyno felt pretty good.)
I'm happy. this is the way HD should make them from the factory. makes it a lot more fun to ride!
Oh I hear you on that one...but then on the otherside there would be a lot less for us to have fun doing over the winter if we did not have to make these improvements anymore
Heres my Train with a 95" build using the 211 cams. Same as yours. 93HP/104 TQ. My 2-2 Vance & Hines pipes dont wanna hit that 100HP number but i'm pleased with the torque.
Until you/we are willing to do a 2-1 fatcat or a pro-pipe combined with something other than the SE heavy breather we are about....Tapped out!
I started off with a cookie cutter harley dealer 95" kit. It was OK but not all there. My motor guy milled and ported the heads, did a 3 angle valve job, adjustable pushrods and hand matched the rings. Mine is tuned with the direct link and the tuner set the idle ultra low so it sounds badass at idle. Cost me about $900.00 over the price of a generic low compression Harley dealership 95" kit. Probably the best 900 bucks I have spent in years!!
But you are right. A 100+ TQ Harley becomes a whole heckuva lot more fun to ride.

if you used the pro pipe and a heavy breather you would be right at 100 hp if i were to guess
