I have been considering a leaf blower, but am put off because they all look too big and cumbersome for getting round the bike without doing some damage. I like the idea of a hose and nozzle but the air force blaster looks way too pricey for me.
This airshammy is a new one on me and looks a lot more reasonable price wise. Now I'm waiting to see if I can get one here in the UK.
Has anyone tried attaching a hose to a leaf blower?
Never used a blower on my bike. Does everyone use it only on the engine and hard to reach places, or on paint and chrome too?
I use it on everything. I ride a Street Glide, the wife has a Heritage Classic. It makes quick work out of the wash job and keeps the water spots low. You have to figure, any opportunity to NOT wipe off your bike is an opportunity to NOT scratch it!!!
The blaster also has a lot of directed wind force so it makes short work out of the drying job.
$20 Leaf Blower, You get more throne on your ride at 65 miles an hour than you would from a leaf blower. So with that said why use a $100 blower that your going to use then go for a ride and get blasted with road crap, flying debris and bugs. Just my perspective.

The difference is that you aren't grinding dirt into your bike with a rag! Agreed that the leaf blower works, the blaster just works better.
