Default 09 Fatboy Stage 1

This maybe a really stupid question but I see alot of times "picked bike up from dealer with stage 1 kit" what does this include?

Thanks Jeremy

A stage 1 kit means a more free-flowing exhaust, a higher velocity air cleaner, and re-mapping of the e.c.m. It will generally give you 10-15% more h.p./torque.

How was the PC-V mounted on your bike? I have heard some nightmare stories about it's difficulty installing on the '09 Fatty's....

Good for you! How's your warranty?

The reason I had my Stage1 done by the dealer before I picked it up new, was they said my warranty would be void if I did it, but if they did the work, they could "work around" any warranty issue.

find another dealer who wont lie. warranty is a contract and unless your dealer is a law firm they are blowing smoke

Talking

PC-V was not that bad to install. You just have to have do some trial and error with the seat fitment. The 2 sided tape they send to mount the module is a joke. Just use some zip ties and you will be fine. As far as the warranty goes I talked to my dealer he said no big deal. Changing exhaust and intake is not that big of a deal. He told me as long as I don't start doing internal work on the engine don't worry about the warranty.

I believe you did. did you use a premade map or did you dyno tune your bike?

IMHO dyno tune is worth it, better than the premade maps. Each bike is slightly different, even if they are litterally a digit apart in the serial number, they can still run differently.
