I used Saddlebag Shappers http://www.bagshapers.com/index.html. They look pretty good. They do not force-shape the bags. Wish I had done this from day one. I started with metal frames to support the tops. Worked okay, but were a real pain when getting stuff out of the bags.
The kit comes with the parts for two bags. The shaper material is thick plastic. One piece slides into front and back (generally shapes the back, bottom and front). Another piece glues to the top. There is nothing in the kit for the side. Would recommend having some extra glue on hand as what is included in the package is not enough to glue them up the way they recommend. Will post pics in a little while.

Notice they do not force the bags to conform to a boxed shape. I do wish they had included a side support, but am happy enough with the results. Still looks fairly "normal".
