I have have the TMax with Autotune and have love it... no issues....

don't need a dyno to tune it... makes adjustments to the A/F ratio based on 02 sensor info....
I'm sure someone will throw out some negatives...but I have yet to find one...
maybe be cost... they are not cheep..

I'm sure the PC does it job well... I don't have any experience with it....

Hope this helps..

I've heard the TMax is awesome. If I had the $$ I would have done it. I went with the TTS Mastertune, and LOVE it... Just got in from a ride over to Wasaga Beach. Runs AWESOME..... $385 + cables (and you'll need to go for a couple of rides with a laptop computer connected...... JR

thundermax to have to tuned all the time as you drive and as conditions change. saves the price of a dyno tune and lets you do mods later without another dyno tune. I found mine used on the forum for $450

I've been trying to make the same decision. I think I'm going with the TTS Mastertune. It utilizes your stock 02 sensors. I know the thundermax has a wider AFR threshold but in reality you'll really never run beyond the standard 13.8 to 14.6. Numbers might be off a bit. With the Tmax and TTS you sort of control your own destiny and I like that aspect. After reading through all the posts for the last few months all indications are you really can't go wrong with any of them. Depends on how much engine work you see yourself doing down the road. Myself, after the stage 1, exhaust, and tuner I might look into changing cams but it's not high priority at the moment.

Tmax is the way to go if you have the bread, it's pricey and you save money since you do not need to dyno. On the other hand, i use the PCIII and i got it from Jaime at FUELMOTO for much less than i would have paid for the Tmax, plus any upgrades i do Jaime sends me a new map for the PCIII for FREE..
