Sounds like a scam. Way too good to be true. Not calling you a liar or anything, but 8K on an 08 NT is a give-away.
Believe it or not there are some real good deals out there.. This one has 6k miles and the guy wants $8k.. My buddy bought an '08 NT with 1100 miles for $11,200 last Oct.. Guy selling it had just lost his job and had a new baby on the way.. On top of the great price he also had the saddle bags and windshield for it.. Lots of extras.. My buddy felt bad for the guy and gave him exactly what he was asking for it knowing it was a steal at this number..
I'm with everyone else.. For $8k I'd buy the NT no matter what.. Ride it and see which one you like better then sell the other.. If you sell the NT you can take the $3-$4k profit and black out the FB..
i could not see where some one would sell for that when the dealer would give him more outright. Just be careful it is not one of those we will send it to you and cash only. your bank will be more than happy to handle the transaction for you and they will be sure it is legit. also you insurance company will check it for you along with the local police.
Thanks dude. Before I do anything, I am going to run the Vin # and inspect the bike inside out making sure that all is original and that all #'s match. I will also have the local police give it a look just to double check everything. and as for the $$ part, There will be no sending money anywhere. I will pay when the bike and title are in my possetion.
