The dealer I'm using took pics of my tank yesterday for documentation, then called me about an hour after I left to let me know I'm getting a new tank.

Good to hear.
I'd like to know if these are just isolated incidents or if HD knows something we don't.
Wanted to give everyone an update. This past Friday, the regional HD service rep was at the dealer and I rode over there. He too took one look at my tank and said it will be replaced under warranty so it's ordered and the wait begins.

I should also say the regional service rep (who was very very cool BTW) was pretty stumped about how my tank ever got out of the factory, let alone past the dealer I bought it from. Regardless, they are absolutely taking care of me but he couldn't even give me an estimated delivery date. I'm fine with that since it's just cosmetic any way. But it's cool that I haven't gotten any grief at all from anyone at the dealer or higher.
