The indy custom shop that works on my bike pointed out cracking in my paint (on the tank) last week when I was in there picking it up. He said it was under the clearcoat and clearly a warranty issue so guess I need to make a trip to the dealer. Mine's a 2008 model that I got last July, and I fully expect them to give me grief and not want to do anything about it. In addition, my salesguy no longer works there.
I feel like I have little scratch marks on it, that just appeared out of no where and will take pics of mine. They are very minor, but still noticeable in the sun light.

I'll get some pics when I get home from work today. It was dark out last night and raining this morning. I did intend to get a pic for everyone to check out though.
I took another quick look at it this morning, it almost feels/looks like a small dent from an impact on the inside of the fender, which may have caused the crack.
I'll check it out again after work and post a pic.

Thanks man appreciate it. Let me know what HD says also. I love the paint, but was overall worried about the support/vibe that HD gives off which is that no one knows what to do about the paint. I talked to the local HD paint guy, where I bought my bike, and he was kind of clueless on what happens if there is a scratch and how he would go about fixing it.

I was told when I bought the bike that "touch up" on the denim paint is pretty much a no-go. Which was fine with me, small scratches and marks will occur over time and give the finish some character. This crack kinda worries me a little bit though.
