thanks for the responses and advice. I went out riding this past weekend and used a rag for the first time. I have some hair but not much on top. I think the rag gave the helmet the grab it needed, it didn't slip at all. taking the visor off sounds like a great additional idea. I'm going to do that also and I think I'll be set.

I want to thank Mordrapheus for the great advise. I took the visor off the helmet and what a difference it made. I thought that I needed it for the sun. When I took it off, I realised that it did not help to block the sun. It only worked to catch more wind.
