I AM CONSIDERING THE PURCHASE OF A 1999 SOFTAIL CUSTOM W/ 9,500 ORIGINAL MILES. ARE THERE ANY ISSUES THE 1999s HAVE. I WOULD WELCOME YOUR ADVICE GOOD AND BAD.

my dad just bought a 98 custom with 8,500m on it clean as can be.he has no complaints,great bike,I think that was the last year for the evo's.go for it

Great bike...I have a 99 FXSTC and still love it...last year for carb/Evo combo. Only complaint is that it is a little finicky on start up on cold days.

i have a 99 fxstc i bought with 8,500 miles on it. Now it has 20,100 on it, runs good never had a problem with it.
