My 07 Deluxe front brake really sucks! I've replaced the pads, rotor, & lines...it’s still really weak. Thinking about replacing the caliper with a Brembo, any suggestions?
New pads & rotor...not glazed. Use to have a Wide-glide with a single pad & it doesn't even come close to its stopping power. Looking for an after market set-up or wondering if a HD-Brembo will work?
Ive never ridden a Harley with good standard brakes, they are terrible. V-rod was just about OK. How can Harley make bikes with such poor brakes ? Most Jap stuff can outbrake a Harley with ease. Have you thought about Harrison Brakes?
Are you saying you have a brake problem? To me, it sounds like you are not happy with the stock setup, and want to spend a grand on a new brake system.
Please be specific, so people do not try and help you out with a problem. You are wasting their time.
There was good thread last week about kits offered to mount Brembo brakes to Harley's and centering the caliper.
If you have the single rotor now, why don't you change your right lower leg, master cylinder, and brake line to a duel rotor setup?

Can't remember which thread, but a guy posted yesterday that he got a lot better brake feel by changing out his master cylinder to an aftermarket one. Just a thought.
