front brake sqeal ?

is there a better brake pad than the hd stock pads? mine likes to make a low sqeal when stopping at low speeds. i had it fixed at my dealer once. they took the pads and put a chamfer on the edge and it worked for a few hundred miles, but it is back. i have never had this problem on my metric bikes. can i just upgrade the pads and fix the problem or is it in the caliper design itself?

Had the same prob on an 06 V-ROD. replaced pads with EBC-hh pads.
They are made for cruisers. Stops better and no sqealing.
Also have them on my bikes. love them
