Default Tach bracket

Well, I did a search and it appears I'm not alone in needing a tach bracket that will bolt onto the bar clamps for my Rocker. So it looks like the fab route for me, unless anyone else can chime in with a solution. If not, anyone interested in me making one for their scoot as well?

Separate purchase of application-specific Mounting Brackets and Gauge Housing is required.

I share your pain. I had the same problem with my Springer. Lots of options for standard spread risers and bars. Springers are spread wider and obviously the Rocker's setup a unique as well.

Unless HD or some other aftermarket company decides to make one for the OEM Rocker bar/riser configuration, you may be out of luck for a bolt-on solution.

So you can...

1. Fab your own
2. Swap your OEM rocker bars and risers for standard risers and bars. Then options for a riser mount bracket are available.
3. Install an integrated tach/speedo in the dash.
4. Install a tach mounted in a different location. Some offer setups to mount on the fork tubes, off the side of a rocker box, and maybe some other areas.

Good luck. Post pics of whatever you end up with. Rocker folks will be interested as will the rest of us.

I also share your pain. I have a mini 2" HD Tach that I have been trying to mount to my XBones but without any luck yet. Keep us posted on what you come up with.

Will do, guys. I have a template made up, and I know a guy through my work that can waterjet it for me fairly cheap. I'm thinking of using stainless, that way I can polish it and have chrome finish without the added expense and trouble of chroming it. Just curious, but what is the bolt spread across on your Springer frontends?
