I ordered and installed the Heartland one that is specially made for the Rocker. They have different ones for the Rocker but I got the one with led lights. PERFECT
Heartland also now does a plate that fits to the oval bars on the rocker
Any info on this new mount?.. Can you get it in horizontal?.. I know it would happen one day that day was last Sat... Someone smacked mine and snapped the upper belt guard mount right off.. Now I need to come up with something a little mo betta..
I want to let you Rocker guys know that we are going to be working a swingarm mounted side plate holder for the Rockers in the near future. We are looking forward to filling the gap with parts that are not really availabe and we all know the rocker has an oval swingarm. fJust a quick question, do you like horizontal, vertical, flat or curved? thanks...
All the ones you mentioned. Rocker owners have somehow installed all the ones you have mentioned and having the options is what it is all about.. Thanks
It's pretty much the general consensus that horizontal is the one that is always legal... On the other hand guys like the vertical as well.. If I was you I would make one of each style and just run flats for now until you see how big the demand for a curved it.. Horizontal will need to be flat no matter what..
If you can make one in the next few days I'll buy it.. lol
I hope this is not getting too redundant, but this topics seems to be spread over multiple threads. Sorry if I'm over doing it...
Top Down Products has the answer...
...a license plate mount that fits directly off the rear axle and will rotate between horizontal and vertical without needing any tools.
I'm from Top Down Products and we have a truly unique and versatile product. Our mount is available in Chrome, Gloss or Flat Black Powder Coat. It fits virtually every make and model Harley and some non-HD's as well. Here are some pics of the product. Check out our website www.topdownpro.com for more details on the product and mounting options. For the Rocker, I recommend the Axle Mounting.
