Relocating rear plate???

Relocating rear plate???
On a Rocker C...
What are all you guys doing? I would like to move the plate to the side of the bike, but I am just not sure what all my options are. Can some of you all that have done this post up pics, links, and rough prices???
What about the holes left in the rear fender? I would be affraid to see what that would cost to repaint.
