Well, since I cant get a Nightrain due to them discontinuing, im torn between two different softails. Im not asking to make my decision, but just different opinions hopefully from owners. I had originally wanted a softail custom, love the look and wanted apes. But im also looking at the infamous Rocker C. Looks beautiful and seems to be a sweet ride. What you all think
Rocker C is a model which I did love immediatelly by the time of its release, but the longer I see that bike, the less I love it. I think it's a more 'temporary' model, IMO.
The Softail Custom is a model I know for about 25 years by now, and I still like the model. It's a classic.
It depends on if you do two up or solo. If I had to choose right now I would go with a Rock, either one can be made into what you want. It's more what you like that matters
y can still get a train! or get custom change seat etc shiney nt. i dont dislike rockers but they do need $$$ to make real nice. over your side u could get a big dog etc cheeper than doin up a rocker.u could hav had my nt but i got a geezer after it, i got an 04 springer last week 4 a good price so the nt has 2 go

Softail Custom VS Rocker C
Have you thought about waiting for the new model to come out?
I would search the stealers for an 09 train if that is what you realy want.
Someone some where surly has one.
