i recently bought an 05 Fatboy and I'm wantin to put some bags on it. I used to have a RoadKing and liked the size of those bags,so...I just bought a set of hard leathers off an 05 RK. Any suggestions on how to mount em? I can see I'm gonna have to relocate the signals so thats first. Then I'm not sure if there is a bracket available to transition the bags to the Fatboy. I couldn't find any prior thread on this...or photo's of a Fatty with RK bags. So any suggestions will be appreciated. (On relocation signals and on mounting brackets!)
thanks.
BTW, the pipes were changed out to Reinharts...it looks like shorts, so the bags will have clearance once the signals are moved.
there was a thread a couple of months ago, covering this very subject. search for it, the brackets you need were listed along with tips. maybe easy brackets or cycle vision brackets not sure.
Brackets are available to mount the bags in most catalogs. for turn signal relocation that bracket TK353 talked about is sweet I have it myself. I ended up mounting heritage bags in the end. Post some pics when your done.

EZ Brackets wont work well for FLH Bags they zre too lsrge snd need support at the bottom. Look at Cycle Visions Brackets they may be the best set up for these bags.
