i have a 09 fatboy and little over 300 miles on it i bought new rinehart crossbacks and SE heavy breather, my question is how many more miles should i go before the install and after the install should i just go with the dealer download(just ride normal, no rubber burning or 100mph runs).

 

you can install them at anytime...
some dealers will install after market parts before the bike leave the showroom floor

 

That would be a personal choice. I say do it now...

 

will i be ok with dealer download after a/c install?

 

get a thundermax and then it will tune as you ride. i would install them as soon as you want. most people wait for that 1000 miles checkup so if the enging has issues then they cant say it was your mods that caused it.

my dealer installed my v&h pipes, se/ac, and power commander before i took delivery... so no problem there.. the HD download works for most setups.. may not ring out every extra horse, but will be sufficient for fueling..
