I got mine from JD's CycleWorks in PA. Basically, it's an upgraded SERT, made by the company that used to make the SERT for HD. The link up there will explain what the TTS does. If you're not planning on having the bike tuned immediately, call Doc at 352-242-9616, and he can get your base map squared away for you.

FWIW I have Pipes, A/C, Xied's and the stage 1 download, the bike runs fine but the fuel mileage is not so good.
IMHO if your just doing pipes and a/c on the newer efi bikes, the XIED's are sufficient but they're by no means the best way to do it. I bought mine from an indy shop that sells about 10-15 units a month to guys looking to do what you want to do. He asked me a few questions about what I wanted to do with my bike and then he suggested the Xied's. I asked them "what if it doesn't work?? He said "yours would be the first one I've seen that didn't". He also said if I wasn't happy he'd give me my money back, I figured WTH,they were worth a shot and like I said the bike runs fine. This same indy sells them all from Xied's and PCIII's all the way to the Thundermax and I feel this guy was on the level. He said eventually I'd be back for a Thundermaxx with a wink but the XIED's would work perfectly in the meantime. So far so good, only compaint would be fuel mileage.

So with the xied....how bad is the gas milage?

I spoke with Fuelmoto and they recommend the PC5, even though the power Commander website says it won't fit a Cross Bones. I would have to take the relay bracket apart. The Fuel Pak won't directly fit without cutting the battery cover. So basically nothing is truly plug and play except the xied which seem to be not well received on this forum for the most part.

Heck, maybe I will just start trailering my bike so I don't have to start it. Lol

I guess ultimately I am just annoyed. Simple doesn't seem to be an option here.

From everything I have read I don't think people are disappointed with the Xied for what its purpose is. To run the mixture more rich to ease off on the heating and to improve some of the throttle response. I think most people get that...but then they get the hunger for more performance which the Xied is really not intended for.

I have had the Xied for a little bit...noticed an improvement in heat and in some throttle response. I am pondering a fuiel management device...but not cause I am unimpressed with the Xied (I think they are great bang for buck) but because I may want to do more.

^^ Well said... If you are content with just pipes and a/c the Xied's will work fine. I thought $100 is better than $500 right now as I won't be doing any more engine mods this year. If and when I decide that more power is needed, I will be switching to the Thundermaxx or something similar.
Gas mileage is noticeably worse! I can't give you numbers as I don't watch it that closely, if it needs gas I put more in. Educated guess would be be about 50-75km less per tank. It seems like I'm at the pump a lot sooner now than before.

No new A/C = No need for fuel manager= SIMPLE

I've been simple for almost 2 years now and have no complaints. Rush 1.75s and 42-50mpg is just fine and dandy for me.
