Default Deluxe question- Ultimate seat?

Hi all.
I just posted my question with my intro and was told to try in here specifically.

I have just upgraded my 06 deluxe to a bagger... Dragonfly fairing, Sumax bags, hard trunk...the big bags required new pipes, and my choice was VH 2 into 1 pro pipes. Love them The big bags have also required changing out the seat. I ordered an Ultimate seat, upon recommendations of many other riders. I am in heaven when I have two weeks and 3000 miles to ride, so this seat will make my butt happy. The problem: my guy (it's still getting worked on) told me tonight that the passenger pillion does not fit.

Has anyone purchased an Ultimate seat and passenger set up? If so, did you have fit issues? Or did they send me the wrong pillion? I will hopefully clear it up with Ultimate tomorrow, when I go out to pick up my bike. But I was kind of hoping that someone had some good news for me ahead of that. I am of course thinking that their softail seat does not fit all the softail models...

thanks for your input!

Here's my ride:
2006, 24,000 miles, custom painted by the factory when new, yellow pearl.
The mods were painted to match this past month.

(yes, that is also my yellow car...lol)

It's all yellow! I don't know about the pillion, but seeing as you put on so many miles I would suggest our floorboard extenders for your ride. They give you more room for your feet and legs. Okay, enough shameless self promotion from me.

Don't know anything about Ultimate seats but I like what you've done to your Deluxe. Chrome forks would really make that yellow pop.

Good luck with your seat. Hope it doesn't have too much padding, at 5'4", every mm. counts.

I tried to talk the wife into getting a new seat but she's grown attached to the rail and all. Maybe when we do some 300 mile rides she'll change her mind.

Edit: Just checked out their site. Looks like a good product. I'd be interested in your review of the seat after you use it for awhile. Especially as it compares to the stock.

As for the pillion, I would suspect that they sent you the wrong one. Seats and pillion are interchangeable between the wife's Deluxe and my Heritage. So, doesn't seem to be anything special about the Deluxe.

You need a matching schoolbus to go with those rides

I don't have any input on the seat but just had to say that bike looks awesome!

Great job!

I bet you could spot that thing via satellite with that color.

Too funny Mark. My little girls calls everything on the road that's yellow "Bananna". She would be impressed with all that yellow. I think it's her favorite color.

Who you callin yellow!!! Nice work. BTW are those bags painted? Or is the color "molded" in. Seems like I can almost see the sunlight through them. Is that your yellow car in the background?

You'd be surprised...I'm also 5'4" and I put on the extensions about a month ago. They're great. They let your feet sit in a more comfortable position so you don't tweak your knees.

I too like the ride. I've been looking at a tourpak as well. That things a full on bagger now. Should be a really nice long distance hauler. Congrats.
