Smart Siren II Won't Chirp
Smart Siren II Won't Chirp
Just installed a smart siren II on my 2004 Fat Boy. When I arm the security system with my Key fob, the turn signals flash just like before, but the siren doesn't chirp. Moving the bike sets off the siren. The key fob shuts it off ok. It just doesn't chirp when arming or disarming. Any ideas?

If my ignition switch is turned on, the siren wont chirp when I set the alarm. Found this out when I forgot to turn the ignition switch off, after using the kill switch.
Have you tried setting the alarm, with the ignition on and off? Maybe the wires are crossed.
Now I know enough to check to make sure my ignition switch is in the off position, if my siren doesn't chirp.
