I made the same decision...

I think the stock seat on the Fb is much more comfy than the one on the NT, which is not comfy at all for a passenger.
And in case you'd like to put a more comfortable seat, or a touring seat, then a certain model of seat will probably always look smaller on a FB than when mounted on a NT.
So, if you want to please the wifey, I'd choose the FB.

Have been in the same debate with my self for 6 months, had the Rocker C in the list too.
I did test ride them all.

Finally decided on NT, put down payment today with local dealer for 07 low mileage.

but i didnt care about the two-up.

got inspired by exilecycles 05 NT !!

Me too.

For that reason I also went with quick detach backrest and bags. I can streamline her for when it's "just me".

Same frame, same fender supports the difference is going to come down to seat and backrest. If her passengering is going to come down to the occasional weekend jaunt, a Night Train with a quick detach sissy bar and a comfy seat might be the best choice. With practice you can add/remove a sissy bar and change the seat in under a minute.

Daily, I use a sidekick seat, it OK around town, but the wife hates it for more than one hour. She is a small lady with a small butt. I bet a the bigger a girl is the more they hate small seats.
It does not matter on a night train for a fatboy, the sundowner seat and detachable backrest looks like crap. I even had my sundowner recovered in leather and stingray. I now have an expensive ugly *** seat.

Seat is in basement. Backrest is too.

Bolted on a Larosa solo seat and decided to become an "Faux" Outlaw (Albeit an Outlaw with a sore ***!)and called it day...

Anyone want a Sundowner seat and a black wrinkle backrest sissy bar deal with a pad? Durty cheap?

Oops...Night Train or fatty to make the wife all happy and want to ride with you?

Ummm....Fatty!
