Lightbulb mammoth fat 52 spoke wheel info please

I have read just about every topic on these wheels, but cant find the answer i am looking for. So has anyone fitted these up too a 2007 softail Deluxe, and were there any other requirements needed. just purchased a set and was told they should be a direct fit , but might need a shim?. but spacers shouldn't be required.Since there is only one dealer i can have these fitted i really dont need them to start charging extra labour to fit, if modifiying is required. So i would prefer to take everything that is needed.thankyou and hope someone has used the same wheel on the same bike that can steer me in the right direction.

They need to be spaced properly. Your 07' should still be the 3/4 axle. The front may bolt right on but the rear is more than likely gonna take a bit of custom fitting via spacer sizing.

The DNA's seem to need about 1/5" ground off the pulley side spacer on most pre 1" axle bikes. My front DNA bolted right up with the stock spacers...The rear took a little work on getting the spacing just right. Its no big deal and if you are having the dealer do it and if they in fact have to grind a 1/5" off a spacer to fit them up? Surely they wont charge you much if anything extra? I mean you are already paying them top dollar to install the wheels right? What 5 minutes of time to space them correctly. Your dealer knows this already. They aint dumb. You shouldnt need new spacers as they can simply grind yours to fit if those 52 spokers are fat hubbed like the rest of the DNA wheelsets. If you did need a new spacer its not a big deal unless you want some high end chrome uber spacers!

Thanks for the info. I actually rang DNA themselves and was told they were not sure ?
i was told to ring someone by the name of Gerry, who fits a lot of there wheels. And was told for a 2007 they wont require anything ,straight bolt up.So shall keep my fingers crossed.

I put some on my 2002. Bolted right up without a hitch. Spacing was already perfect with the stock pulley. I was told if i was getting a DNA pulley I would need a spacer for it to be spaced properly. Of course not much help as my bike is a 2002.
