My Ness dampeners are fantastic. I am running drag specialties heavy oil and I forget the amount but I filled them carefully with the exact amount specified in the manual.
I would double check that a) the indy put the right amount of oil in the forks and b) that they still have the correct amount in them and the bottom washer isnt leaking.
The problems you describe could easily be caused by low oil level.
Good luck!
When are you getting the Progressives put in, or have they arrived yet?
I ordered the progressives last friday so im thinking they should arrive by the end of the week. I went on a 3hrs. ride today and let me tell you i felt it up front. Im looking foward to putting in the progressives.

I have NO leaks at all from my bike anywhere. I just couldn't believe how BAD my ride is. So im jumping on the progressive bandwagon now. Also when i called Arlen Ness about them they even confirmed that they are having problems with them(1in100) which im sure its more than that. I just don't believe that compressing stock shocks is the way to go. I shouldn't have went the cheap route with the Ness dampners and just spent a little extra and did it with progressive.

You should be happy with the Progressive's I love mine, wish the rears would work as well as the fronts. I shouldn't say that I adj the preload again today and much better
I can't take the credit for this one. I just made the contacts and posted it here. John is getting pretty good at tracking these Trolls down. You can use a proxy but there is always a way to trace somebody.
