I get blown and bugged down bad on me Night Train...I also get rocked and sanded. The last Train I saw with a "Screen" and saddlebags convinced me that I wasnt putting that stuff on my bike and may need to look into an old beater EVO touring bike for the longer buggier wind blown trips.
At least Y'all Fatties dont look bad with the screen....I think they look almost cool if you pick the right one.
I don't mind the bugs in my teeth or the sand in my hair. It's part of the experience. The rain will wash it all off anyway. If I want to stay clean and dry, I'll take the car.
If I had the cash, I'd have a fleet of Harleys, one of course would be a full-on touring model......... and the Fatty would stay exactly like it is.... well, with a few more horsepower of course...... and maybe a 240 rear..... and maybe forward controls.... and, and, and.... haha......... I LOVE MY CHUBBY!!!!
I have a Memphis Shade on mine its easy to take off but sure keeps the bugs off and in cooler temps...and if your caught in the rain it will keep some of the water off
