The Rocker Gap
I was making an observation of all the Rocker pics, and noticed that only a couple have eliminated the gap completely, by lowering and or seat change. Regardless of what route we choose the bike remains the stand up and shout bike of the Harley stable. So as far as the rear end of the bikes, I like speedsnice and Alains the best. The heartlands are nice, but it really just swaps the location of the gap, and creates a huge gap between the rear tire and fender. Especially those that cut the fender short. I favor what Harley created more than heartland. Just a observation, and to each their own.

Thanks, I actually want to get an air ride to get rid of the gap. Here are some pics. The angle of the photos makes the gap look smaller but I have not lowered the bike yet.

This angle shows the dreaded Rocker gap.

thanks for the mention Steve. i'm a big fan of the heartland kit (might be doing it next season) but i love what the danny gray seat does for the bike.
I just swapped back to the stock set up yesterday (took me 15 minutes) cause my girlfriend wanted to go for a spin and the difference in the riding position and the looks of the bike is amazing, it's like night and day.

speedsnice, I recently put the Arnott Air Suspension on my Rocker. The ride is amazing. I have the Legend Air Suspension on my FXST, but I really think the Rocker with the Arnott has a better ride. I have the Heartland kit on order. My hope is to get the rear fender very close to the rear tire without sacrificing too much ride comfort. Currently, I can lower the air suspension so that when I put my weight on the bike, it lowers to the max and I still get a good ride.
