Try the rocking chair deal with a snappy handfull of throttle as you lean back and a quick release of the clutch.
You can easily be the guy we see on Youtube wheeling yer' Train up the street! rocking forward then back as you grab a Big handfull of throttle, snap that clutch out like you mean it. She will come up. Not very pretty on a softail but she will come up. Too much TQ not to.
How would engaging clutch before shifting out of 1st, releasing clutch in nuetral, and then engaging clutch again before entering second help me burn rubber? Shortly after I purchased my 07 Train I accidentally gave a bit too much clutch and gas and barked the rear tire. I thought that was pretty cool so at the next traffic light I gave it even more throttle and clutch and to my surprise it lifted the front wheel up. Now it didn't go real high, less than a foot but just the fact that it did it when I wasn't expecting it was enough to make my heart skip a beat. I have since given lots of gas and throttle, but it has only resulted in a burnout.
