Default Front end lift (wheelie)

I have had my Train for about 3 months now and have yet to feel the front end even feeling a little light. Is this because I am just not pushing the bike that hard or what? I came over from the sport bike side and on those it was nothing to lift the front tire just taking off a little hard from an intersection. Do these 96" pigs make enought torque to lift the front end or what? I have never been into stunting, i've never done a wheelie or any other trick on purpose (like I said, I've lifted the tire on a sport just from a hard start, but not just to do it).

It seems you should have stayed with the sport bike.

That said, you should feel something. I do (fatboy). You feel better once you do a stage 1 upgrade. Beyond that you'll need to determine how much power you want and how much you want to spend.

The possibilities are almost endless............

You want the front end of your 700 lb NT to come off the ground???
Yep... you need to go back to your crotch rocket.

i started on sports bikes myself and i know what you mean, it doesn't take much to bring them up, half the time you have to fight them to keep the front down. but these beasts are not meant to do that kind of none sense. pimp that baby out and keep both wheels on the ground

What you have going against you is length and weight. However getting nuts with mine it will maybe come up an inch or so shifting to second without the clutch. Not easy to do but if you can get the tire to hook, be 100% in the torque and quick with the shift it will pull and air gap between the tire and road. While I have the fxstc it's about the same dimensionally with a few extra ponies over stock.

You are riding a Harley. It is unlikely the front end will ever feel light.

As hard as I tried to get my point across it seems that most of the people that have relpied either didn't fully read my post or just didn't understand. I don't care to do any wheelies with this bike, heck I didn't even with my sport bike. All I was saying was that I was supprised in the difference between the bikes as far as the front end coming up. So no, I guess I shouldn't have stayed with the sport bike and I should be riding what ever I want.

I sure wouldn't want to do it, I just remember seeing a guy on a fatboy damn near stand one on end before. That is why I was so supprised to feel almost no lift out of my front end, not disappointed just supprised.
