My 2007 Fatboy was lowered 1", not much but it looks better. My wife and I often ride 2 up and we are not small people and ride comfortably.

I went with the bolts and my buddy went with the new shocks. His bike rides better than mine hands down. Neither one of them ride great though. Yes you will scrape stuff especially if you ride two up. I love the look but the days of doing 300 miles on my 'train are over.

Thanks dream. Very good info. I would have the dealer put mine on in hopes they know what they are doing. But thanks for that.

had mine adjusted 1 1/2lower and when i got the heartland kit i lowered it the full 2 and when i got the second seat i thought i would bottom out with the weight on the rear but i went last weekend with the wife on the back and damn i was impressed by the stock shocks ..............i did adjust the preload thou and will have air but after last weekend its last on my list
