I bought an 05 Fat Boy new in, you guessed it, 05.
I had the screamin eagle II slip-ons (the ones from the Pro race catalog) put on before I even picked it up.
A couple months later I replaced the entire exhaust system anyway.
So here I have the factory exhaust with the SE II slip-ons attached hanging on the wall in my garage where they have been for several years having had only a couple months worth of
use.
Put them on ebay. Start the price at .99 and it wont cost much if you don't sell them. I could not believe I got $300 for my hard Rocker C seat on ebay.
There are many places to list this kind of items, but I have found the forums to be the best place. Ebay will sell it quicker, but you have to pay their fee's. If you want help selling it let me know. I avhe done my fair share of selling on the internet. I can offer pointers as well.
I have a '96 Heritage Softtail with dual straight pipes and NO baffles. I'm looking for 1 3/4" slip ons or baffles that will fit, so yes, there is a market.
i saw a set just like that for $200 in a pawn shop. they are still hanging there. you may get $200 just for the old style SEII alone and the 50 for the pipes. I was offered 50 for my stock pipes but shipping was going to be about 50 to florida.
