Try doing a search also, I'am sure there's plenty of aftermarket setups

If you ride with a windshield year-round, google Ron's Motorcycle Radio. It's larger, and fits onto your windshield, but it's probably one of the best units I've seen. And the price is about the same as those handlebar mounted speakers/ipod units. It comes with a quick disconnect setup, so you can unplug it and remove your windshield.

I'm looking into this too for my ipod. However, I find those handlebar speakers hideous and need to figure something else out. I have been told they make low profile units that mount on the downtubes and are not that noticeable. Let you know when I find a sleek unit that sounds good.

I've been looking for some not-permanent solution, I do want to be able to hear my tunes without leaving permanent (look spoiling) solutions and I don't like to isolate from the world with earphones when I'm riding. This is a product from Kuryakyn, funny thing is that it doesn't appear on Kuryakyn.com but it does on denniskirk.com

Check it out:

Mimo, thanks. That's not a bad looking unit, and I like the fact that it's quickly removable. I wonder how long 4 AA batteries will keep it powered up, though. The cost is very appealing.

Remember that it says it can also be powered by your bikes batt, so I'm thinking on leaving a permanent connector attached to the bike's battery, so you can plug the unit on and off everytime you wish to do so

Mimo.

+1. Buddy has em' on his Dyna wide glide. They look worse than hideous and sound really bad without a windshield.

He loves em though......

Someone hollowed out some turn signals and turned them into a speakers a while back. I think it was a Dyna guy. I do the earphone/ipod thing on long trips and that is fine for me. That being said I would love to be able to kick some tunes while cruising through town.

I have seen a Deluxe with hard bags and those silver Kury speakers on the bars and that thing kicks. I think they have an amp in the bags along with speakers and probably the stero. A nice setup for sure.
