I never seem to be able to locate any used tuner deals. If you see something let me know.

The TTS is a great system. Has a good amount of parameters to allow fuel/ignition and gearing/tire size changes. Has a large listing of starter maps for different builds. And it doesn't change a thing on the bike accept for the programming parameters of the ECU so any dealer can still diagnose it with there tools if is a concern.

JR - That's cool. I plan on placing the puter in a backpack and going for a spin. Did you start with a map first?

Ya', if you read through my thread, you'll see that I had some difficulty trying to figure out how to keep the Mac (which was running XP Pro) powered-up while the lid was closed. That's why I didn't do the "back-pack" thing. One of the other forum member showed me how it could be done. YES, the software comes with MANY MANY MANY pre-configured profiles. You just pick the one that's closest to your set-up. Easy-breezy!

Can you sahre the tip on keeping the laptop up while the top is closed? I thought about that myself.

Also, are the any tricks to getting to the pipe bolts at the exhaust on the rear pipe. One of them seems to be tucked in there pretty good.

Its a power option in your control panel. If ya got Vista and you get this far look to the right hand side for 'Choose what closing the lid does.'

I got mine with a really long extension attached to a shorter extension...

It's all in here, even some great Mac & Microsoft advice. Take your time, go through it all. If I were to do it again, for sure I would use the back-pack. I spun-up this little creation in a few minutes, and it was PERFECT for what I was doing...... and everyone on here had a little fun teasing me too. They just haven't seen how huge I am yet! haha..... JR
