Counter Balancer Problems?

Counter Balancer Problems?
Any of you guys with the "B" Motors ever had any issues/problems with the Counter Balancer assembly?
No real reason for asking I guess, just curious. I've asked a few shops if they had ever come across any problems or what the expected service life is and can't seem to get an answer. Most just say "haven't had and issues yet".
It's always in the back of my mind how much havoc it would cause down there if that chain ever goes. Guess if it's gonna happen it will happen and shouldn't worry about it. Maybe I'm just bored this morning.

More than 30,000 with no problems and a many shifts hitting the rev limiter.
I have not heard of any problems from the shops that I use other than the "B" motors produce a little less HP due to the balancer
