Any body has mounted these with the standard peg mount?

HAve you had any issues with it being not screwed to the frame?

I find that the light looks better on the plate when you mount the plate on the inside of the frame. I know that the factory bolt was a SOB to get off!!!! I really like how it folds in. It goes both ways so if its bumped it moves. Since this picture I have gotten rid of the passenger pegs. Looks much cleaner.

Did the thread of the new bolt go all the way through the hole in the frame?

Is it tight on the foot pegs, like that?

Thnx

Saints... i had mine located on the inside of the frame like yours for a while and it does look better although you cant see it so well from the back.
the worry i had is that the plate folds in (does yours ?) and if it was hit it could fold in and get caught up in the belt/wheel.....just a warning thats all..

In this pic I still have the passenger foot peg but have long since removed it. I used the stock Allen Head bolt and screwed it in from the inside out. Also I mounted the plate holder on the inside of the frame. Without the foot peg I had to cut the bolt shorter so it wouldn't stick out.

This is how it looks now as discribed:

I hope this helps.

Hogdiver; we can still read your plate in the reflection

Phantom I did the same thing with the bolt. Inside out. My plate does not have the LED on it so it does not get caught on anything. I know my plate reflects in the paint. Whomever can read my plate feel free to come and get my bike.... you will be filled with holes before you know it.
