Default Slammin A Fatty

If i lower rear about 1 1/2" how much tension will this put on
the belt, or should i just go ahead and ajust it?[8D]

Should not be a problem. I lowered my Softail, and the tension on the belt is the same.

I lowered my 94 FXSTC one inch ten years ago, no troubles since.

i slammed my fatty all the way down to the stops, about 2.25 inches, 50000 miles and i never have had to adjust the belt

i sent you an email but i dont think you got it in regards to how fat of a rear tire can you go. i put a metzler 150 on my bike, i bought the pully axle spacer out of the widr tire kit, only a couple of dollers, then the differance in length between that one and mine i ground off the out side axle area of my brake caliper. this moved my rim over and centered it in my fender, i had already modify my inner fender splash sheild. i had cut the sides off. also i had already put new struts on my fender that have no visable bolts. the important thing is that there are no bolts stickin through the fendrer into the tire, you could get button head bolts in from the inside of the fender with acorn nuts on the outside, yes they are modifications but very minnor and could be done on the afternoon, if you have any ? or problems or need any part numbers let me know.
