Macguires works great, so does lemon Pledge. It really depends on how picky you are about your bike. I have discovered that some people are more **** retentive than others. The most important is a clean micro fiber so as to not grind any sort of excess dirt into the paint which causes swirls. I usually wipe down the bike with a wet microfiber prior to a quick cleaning to get rid of any surface contaminants or dust or small rock particles that have the potential to cause swirls. The best method is to hose off the bike prior to a cleaning, but most of us do not ahve the time to wash the bike everytime it get's dusty.

Espcially those of us, like me, that live on dirt roads.
