So, are the Lyndal Z+ pads are the best I can get?
Any suggestions on replacing the disc?, or no need?
As far as I know they are, and if you go to their web site you can check out their composition floating rotors. They are reputed to work exceptionaly well and might well outlast the bike itself.
Just make sure you have some nito handy if you have a heart condition, them suckers ain't cheap.

you guys getting over 10 thou. out of rear pads must be going thru a pair of shoes each week with all the foot dragging you are doing .. 8 thou. is about average for me and I use the front a lot.. actually more than a lot every time I stop, slow down , or ride the twisties.. rear tire goes at about 10 thou. and front 8/10 thou but it is the narrow 21.. yes I do ride hard for an old guy..
I don't drag my feet at all. I can't remember how thick the pads were when the bike was new, but I've got 18k on my bike, and the pads still have plenty left. My first rear tire lasted 11k. I'm still on the stock front with no sight of the strips yet.

I got 18,000 out of my first set of front pads and changed the rear at the same time even though there was pad left. I', coming up on 38,000 miles (20,000 on the new pads) using the Lyndall + pads and I still have about 30% left. I do do through tires at 8,000 - 10,000 rear and 15,000 front
