That might not be too bad then. Flames are always a classic look, but the pics definitely look like pretty heavy flake. If it looks better in person, go for it. Worse that happens is you don't like it or grow tired of it, then you swap them back out.

That factory blue and white looks AMAZING. I love it. Leave it as-is.

As you can see I love the Chopper Blue and White.

Bud if I could afford it, I wouldn't mind having a custom set too......to switch out every other year. ??

Well, I am partial to the stock set because I love the two tone blue....You can guess why..lol...But seriously, the custom paint looks killer and will really set your bike apart from many of the others out there. Thing is, it will take you away from the old school look...like you're talking about, however, flames have been around from the 40's and 50's so you'll still have that old school appeal...so my final vote is for the custom set...Good luck.
