Nice work you have done on the luxe. How did you get the solo bag on the bike with the fishtails? I have been wanting one, but have been told that it will not work with the true duals. Do you have any pics of what you did, and where did you get the bag. Thanks.
Thanks, this was one of the colors from October-December or 05. Its called Scarlet Red and Charcoal Satin Brite Pearl. Ive never seen another Deluxe this color.

The bag is from HOG Deluxe. I made a bracket for it that can come off by simply removing the bolt for the passanger peg. The bag is bolted to the bracket with 5 small bolts. There is also a piece coming off the back of the bracket with a hole and a gromet which goes around the axle adjustor bolt. It just slides over the bolt and the gromet protects the bolt. This piece keeps the back of the bag from moving up/down or in/out. The bag really wont move down any as long as I have the peg mounted because the edge where it attached it angled so it actually rests on the peg. If you want I can take a picture of the back of the bag. After fabricating it I had is powder coated black. I wish it matched the swing arm a little more but you can really only see the back of the bracket and to see that you have to look through the wheel. Hope I havent totally lost you. I can make things just not too good at explaining it. Ill take it off one day here soon and post a pic.

Pics of the bracket? Your bike is just begging for some apes.
Good lookin scoot. You can't beat apes...I have 16s on my 06 Deluxe. Your bike would look great with them. It would also look killer with a set of low and wide beach bars. There are several Deluxe's set up each way in the photo section to see.
