Here are a few pics of my deluxe. In the last 2 months I have added a few things including, chrome front end, half-moon floorboards, 33" fishtails, fender bib, headbolt covers, mounting my solo bag to a home made bracket and powder coating it, Softbrake's license plate relocating plate and new tombstone housing and just today I installed both front and rear fender rails.
The worst part with the fender rails is drilling holes in the rear fender. The stress level went through the roof while drilling. Other then that Id rate it a 1 out of 10 on how easy it was. Unfortunately I had to take out the chrome fender bolts I installed and had to install the regular longer bolts provided. Ill have to slide down and get some chrome bolts.
The only thing left is to decide on is apes or not.
Please excuse my poor photo skills and the overcast day.
gorgeous deluxe what are those chrome pieces on the front and rear fender I love those and how much were they I am very interested in getting those pieces

Those are the fender rails I just installed. They are for the Heritage model but fit fine on the deluxe. All you have to do is drill a hole on each side of the rear fender and they bolt right on. Easy install. MSRP is around $100 a piece. If you shop around you can get them on ebay usually for quite a bit cheaper.
Nice work you have done on the luxe. How did you get the solo bag on the bike with the fishtails? I have been wanting one, but have been told that it will not work with the true duals. Do you have any pics of what you did, and where did you get the bag. Thanks.
