2002 fatboy oil change
my father-in-law has a 2002 fatboy. he needs a oil change on it. i have a 06 883l that i change my own oil in. how do i change the oil in his fatboy? please help
Are you referring to the crank case oil, primary oil, or transmission oil? I suggest you get a manual as there is as there is one more hole on a softail than a sportster. The engine oil drain plug is on the FRAME under the oil tank i think on the right side. The primary drain plug is on the rear bottom portion of the primary, and the transmission drain plug is between the rear shocks. 2002 should take about 3 quarts with a filter change for the crank case. Primary takes 22-26oz, and the transmission 26 oz if I remember this all correctly.
