Hi,
I replaced my speed sensor on my 02 deuce about 2k miles ago. The speedometer wasn't working nor was the turn signal cancel. It also didn't idle well. That took care of the problem for a while but on todays ride I had the same problems. I am assuming it is the speed sensor again. Is this common for these to fail this often or do I have something else wrong. I am going to replace it again and hope it was just a fluke. Thought I would get some input though.
Thanks,
Tom
It is a speed sensor issue or that is what it sounds like, take it out and see if it is covered with fileings, if so try cleaning it and change the trans oil.
