Bad Speed Sensor

Possibly. When mine went bad it would have problems after the bike started moving. It would then not idle properly. I also lost the speedo, turn signal cancel and the speed avc for the radio (Ultra). Easy to clean or replace if needed. I just happened to be on a trip at the time. Good luck.

thanks...what problems after the bike started moving?...my bike wont idle after shes warms and i pull in the clutch...i think i have a worn bearing in the tranny

I was told that the ECM needed the input from the speed sensor for idle reasons. Basically once it starts moving some ECM signals are different. Made sense to me at the time although the description was better than mine. Once I replaced the sensor the problems went away. Good luck.
