Hey SFCMO357, SWEEEET bike. I have a deluxe also, how did you clean up your rear fender with the pax seat and rack removed?
Are the two thumb screws for the seat stock? What did you cover the holes in the fender with?
Yes the mods: Most all the parts are in now, I recieved a call from the dearl parts guy. I'm waiting till I get 1000 miles on the bike, this way I can get everything done at once since I live so far from the dealer. I am looking forward to the changes. Although I have come to enjoy the bike stock as is as well!
When I remove the rail; I have 3 plastic chrome doo dads that snap into the holes. I got them from HD and also from a local parts store for motorcycles. Those retaining nuts are stock on my seat; but the rail is a springer rail and it replaced the black portion with the same part but in chrome. I wish I could remember the part number of that laydown plate. I got it from a local v-twin parts store. A lot of stuff I buy; I don't buy from HD---I like the moms and pops stores because they give discounts to the military 365 days. I think that plate was drag specialties...it wasn't HD
