I'm currently sitting in Afghanistan thinking about the mods I'm going to do to my NT when I get home. Were there any issues with fitting the pipes?
I saw your pipes on Bassanis site, but they said for Rocker C.
I am going with a 2 - 1 set up and the black STR-237SMB look good to me. Have to read up on them.

A buddy & I put the pipes on and it was extremely straight forward. Although the website doesn't say it, they do come with a heat shield and they fit my 2007 NT pefectly. Best of all is the sound!

Bassini Pro Streets have no fitment issues, and the sound is incredible. The Pro Street 2-2 Pipes actually perform much better than most 2-1 pipes when it comes to low and midrange torque and are unequal'd in top end hp. The pipes are excellent performers due to the stepped header primary tubes which dont allow for reversion thus making for a wider torqueband , the equal length between the front and rear cylinders also allows for greater peak hp. Good characteristics to look for in a performance pipe. Bassini Pro Streets make excellent wideband power, look great, and sound killer. Alot of nice options in chrome or black, with differing cuts to suite your taste.

Pipes are like women it's a hard choice,there are long ones, short ones, big ones,black ones,and two for one,some are loud,and some can get loud,It's personal...

Equal length / balance means alot to me. One reason I liked the Cross Backs is they were closer than many for length. It seems most H-D's make more power in the front #1 cylinder (no matter what pipe is used). One reason the 2 into 1 seems so good is like an X-Pipe on a car it balance the flow from each cylinder banks.
Any articals that show the Pro Street 2 into 2 perform better than 2 into 1's? So far I have read more about pipes than I ever care to.
2 into 1's seem the best for me as far as making power/TQ in a range I will use, and balancing the cylinders to maybe make a more reliable/efcient engine in the long term.
Now I need to look at a fuel management... PC III or V it seems now... then onto the air intake...
Trying to work on a time hack/funds, but might fall short.

WHen it comes to fuel management, go with a stand alone unit like a wideband 02 feedback system like a Daytona Twin Tec TFCI III(preferred) or a Tmax autotune, they are worth every penny when it comes to a flawless running bike. Stay away from those cheap piggyback fuel adders. I think they are nothing but headaches.

WHether your doing a typical basic stage one or not, a new stand alone fuel system is still the way to go. They use a pair of wideband 02 sensors and tune on the fly. I have 3 of em on all 3 of my bikes, literally plug and play setup. All 3 bikes run flawlessly, with no fiddling, no odd exhaust backfireing, intake pops, decel pops etc. Keeps your A/F ratio right around 13:1 FOR MAXIMUM POWER and PERFORMANCE. And the nice thing is when you change out or add a new performance mod you dont need to tinker and fiddle to get it to run right again. I just swapped out cams and not a single hiccup. It retunes itself automatically on the fly and rewrites its fuel/ignition map. No need to waste time and money on a dyno tune, no need to worry about how good the guy is gonna do to try and tune your bike. ALl the guess work is taken out. Again I would look at a TFCI III.

Dyno sheets to post on this? Not trying to be a naysayer but gaining 4-5 Lbs and 12 HP across the entire "Powerband" by going from the Supertrapp to a set of 2-2's certainly warrants a dyno run scan and post!!
