Not off hand, at the time I wasnt worried about proving #'s to anyone. The end result for my setup was all that mattered. THat being said, its well known that Bassini Pro street pipes are excllent performing pipes.

Would it be safe to assume using simple proven V-Twin theory that the short length of the pipes and their big diameter would reduce the scavenging effect? Especially on a bike like the OP's that isnt a "Built" bike?

I mean what works on a fire breathing 114 build laying down what...160HP? Is that the pipe thats gonna give the OP the same gains you may have experienced on his much closer to stock 96" or whatever he has?

Thses forums are a great source of knowledge and stuff but I sometimes bristle a bit when I see stuff thrown around so loosely without anything substancial to back up those claims.

I like you blue...You are a good guy to have around. But in reading through this post on one hand you use autotune, hate wasting money on dynos tout auto tune systems on the postive without fairly divulging any potential downsides yet you Dyno your own bike with a set of bassani pro street drag pipes and find 4-5 Lbs and 12HP across the "Powerband" but arent willing or have lost the actual data?

Dont get me wrong but this scenario is what steers many guys wrong bro. They read this off the cuff stuff online with any supporting data and and start buying stuff here there everywhere thinking 5 LBS TQ across my powerband...12HP as well only to be dissapointed on dyno day.

I have ridden with a guy who had a set of Bassani pro-streets. They are loud as heck. Good loud but danged loud. He has the chrome ones. They didnt come with heat shields. They looked kinda crappy and like they had turned or blued.

I would want those in black for sure!!

Thanks for joining in the fun Blue!!
