Good job on the exchange and a nice write up as well. Where do you feel most of your power? And what is your main riding style? Looking to do this sometime late this fall. Thanks.

Good job...Very informative. I bet the bike's rumble is a little deeper now, eh? I hear cams will do that.

Been thinking about doing this on my Deluxe....along with a 95 cu in upgrade as well....Only this goes well beyond my ability so I've been getting prices from the Indy's. Cyclerama quoted me $1200 for parts and labor using some of my existing parts like the SE AC, Power Commander, etc. They guarentee that I will be around 88HP and 94TQ. Seriously thinking about it.

I don't have a tachometer but I can tell you the power kicks in somewhere between 2,000 - 4,000 rpm, I am a solo rider, 99% solo riding, mostly riding in town , do long trip once in a while.

Yes, it sounds a bit louder when I rev it up, not just that, my decel pop is completely gone. Remember I was riding down a tunnel 2 months ago, my buddy saw flame came out of my pipe and pop like crazy lol. Keep it in mind, the SE-203 cam is a mild cam, don't expect a whole lot more power compare to a full 95 build and head job. The reason I don't do 95 is because the motor runs strong and doesn't burn oil, I don't want to fix something that is not broken. I am happy with what I have now and this SE-203 cam is really not bad, it is a great budget build.

Great writeup, I'm so confused . When do you say "Stop." Not sure whether to go with cams, 95", headwork. Or just swap cams and call it a day. I did see an upgrade that you can purchase to take your tc88 spring tensioner to a hyd tensioner. Anyone have any ideas on that?

Great job, I am trying to decide whether to do mine myself or have it done. I have to finish doing my wheels and brakes first. Maybe a new seat too. After that, all performance oriented upgrades. Cams, D&D Fat Cat, maybe a big bore kit and headwork.

Well, I've been riding for a few months after the cams installed, not planning to do a 95ci in the near future, you wonder why? I am totally satisfied with these cams, how much more hp and torque do I really gain doing a 95 and head upgrade? Another 15-20? Sounds great but if it aint broke, don't fix it, it runs so good now, I won't do anything till another 40,000 miles at least. Again, you never know lol.
