Have a Deluxe. Have had narrow beach bars, wide beach bars and apes. I like the apes best for looks and for me...comfort. As for apes. I think a lot of people approach height too conservatively first time around. I had 12.5" wild1's and then went to a 12 Carlini fly'n apes. Where the Wild1's were spot on for 12.5" the Carlini's actually measure closer to 14 and I'm much happier. Could see myself with 16" no problem. As to which would be better with the seat you have? Can't say. But I really think that the seat doesn't go with the bike at all.

I was leaning towards the apes due to my seat choice and I think most of you agree. Now the fun part is to shop for size and style!
I am going to swap out the lowers for chrome at the same time.
