I'm not complaining, I like the look more than I care about trying to keep up with the kids on crotch rockets. But I did put a fork brace on mine and it did cut down on a lot of the 'wandering' feel in high speed turns.
spot on bro, u said what I wanted to explain !! and yes the brace in my list.

thnx guys for the input. I did take the bike to the dealer and said nothing wrong, it is a Harley !! I dont trust them thu !

Face it, we got Softails because we like the look or they fit us better. But we have sacrificed a little bit of 'fooling around' handling for that look or fit.

If you’re looking for something that will handle better in turns or at speed the Dyna's and Sporty's have the Softails beat by a mile. With their more rigid swing arm setup, shorter fork tubes and lower head angle they track straighter under loads.

Personally, I understand the problem and am willing to put up with my Softy's minor idiosyncrasies because I like the bike and it does fit me better.

Besides I'm too old for that kind of Kamikaze riding these days. I know I'm not invulnerable and if I get a case of the stupids I know that sooner or later its gonna come back and bite me in the azz. Been there done that, now I just want to enjoy the ride for its own sake.

My 07 Custom developed a wobble at around 18k at speeds over 70 and it turned out to be the steering head bearings, not sure if that is what you are talking about but I changed them and it fixed it. The guy at the indie said he thought they were to tight from they factory.

Also a big +1 on the fork brace, really helped on that wondering feeling you get with that Wide-Glide front end on these bikes.

i dont get wobble. What i get is the feeling that few bolts some where are loose makaing the bike not as one rigid piece while turning or changing lanes !!
but again this is subjective as buddy of mine rode the bike and said nothing wrong it's a Harley !!
